David Blakely was born in 1950. He is currently retired after working as a school teacher, county supervisor, and finally a technology consultant at our local university, California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

Naomi Blakely was born in 1951 and is a retired Special Education program specialist at San Luis Coastal Unified School District.

David and Naomi have been married since 1980. They have lived in San Luis Obispo County since 1972.

The Blakelys have two grown sons living in this area.
